The lovable characters of the Peanuts comic strip come to life on stage as Beloit Civic Theatre presents “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” at the Elizabeth Reinholz Theatre at Beloit Memorial High School. Performances are set for 7:30 p.m. Sept. 27 through Sept. 29 and Oct. 4 through Oct. 6.
WHITEWATER — The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Department of Art and Design hosts its annual Iron Pour from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, with most of the activity between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the sculpture studio, room 1036 in the Greenhill Center of the Arts.
The Tuesday hike report by Jake Gerlach: On this warm September evening, nine regular hikers showed up for our hike. I had planned a drive to a different location but then a large black cloud appeared on the horizon. Also, one of the Nancys said that she had company and needed a short hike. Being flexible, we just went around Lake La Grange again.
