The Tuesday hike report by Jake Gerlach: On a beautiful 70-degree spring day, it was a bit disappointing that only 10 hikers showed up. I suggested that we drive to Oleson Cabin and hike to Confusion Point on the Ice Age Trail and come back on the horse/snowmobile trail. This time of spring there are a lot of flowers in bloom. I saw yellow wood violets, lots of anemone, regular violets and Jack–in-the-pulpit to just name a few. The most common was garlic mustard, which has little white flowers and is very invasive.
