JANESVILLE — There are myriad ways to make merry at Janesville Jolly Jingle, set for Friday, Dec. 6, through Sunday, Dec. 8. Most of the events take place in the downtown area, where free trolley rides will be available from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Dec. 6 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 7.
Many of the events are free, including music at Voigt Music Center’s main stage and at the Janesville Senior Center, activities at Hedberg Public Library and the lighted parade and holiday fireworks. The parade is set for 6 p.m. Dec. 7, with fireworks to follow in Library Park, 316 S. Main St.
Before the parade, live reindeer will be available for photos from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Town Square, 55 S. River St.
In addition, the Janesville Ice Arena will hold public skating, Rotary Botanical Gardens hosts its Holiday Light Show and “It’s a Wonderful Life” is playing on stage at the Janesville Performing Arts Center.
