The old days and old ways will be alive and well at the annual Rock River Thresheree, held Labor Day weekend near Edgerton.
The event is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, through Monday, Sept. 2, in Thresherman’s Park, 51 E. Cox Road. Antique machinery is a highlight, including tractors, a steam-powered pile driver and plow, a sawmill, gristmill, shingle mill and antique cars and trucks. The Parade of Power takes place at 2 p.m. each day. In addition, attendees can drive a tractor, ride the steam train, take in the flea market and more.
