Are the days of Jim Crow laws alive among today’s Democrats?
To the editor, Joe Biden has demonstrated great audacity, suggesting that “requiring those who presume to vote be able to identify themselves as eligible voters” as an attempt to return to the days of Jim Crow (laws).
Who is the real Jim Crow and where did he come from? The “real” Jim Crow was a white Southern Democrat who resided in the Deep South among other Southern Democrats, who thought that persons of color (a term a Southern Democrat would not have used) were beneath the right to human dignity.
The Southern Democrat political machine, running every level of government from governor to school superintendent, imposed every form of segregation imaginable upon persons of color and used every measure they could to keep them from voting.
Notice the effect of the Democrat-sponsored “social welfare” programs passed since the Civil Rights Act of 1964 have had on persons of color and you should agree: Jim Crow has not changed his stripes and he has spread his attitude throughout the whole Democratic Party.
These programs have created a profession of professional, primarily (black) unwed mothers and have segregated them into neighborhoods where the crime rate becomes higher than anywhere else in a city. The standards of education for their children are “intentionally” reduced, reducing their opportunity for equitable employment. They experience proportionately more abortions than any other ethnic group in America. One might think it is a planned genocide. It’s ironic that the Democrats have been able to use these programs to gain the black vote.
