It might be winter, but you still can enjoy a farmers market inside. A winter farmers market will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays on Jan. 5, Feb. 2 and March 2 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 302 N. Parker Drive, Janesville.
The event is hosted by the Janesville Farmers Market and includes offerings such as beef, eggs, pickles, coffee and preserves.
In Whitewater, the city market takes to the indoors from 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays through April, however, the market is not open Jan. 5. The Whitewater market is held in the community room at Irvin L. Young Memorial Library, 431 W. Center St. Items for sale include freshly brewed kombucha, cheese, bread, sweets, locally grown microgreens, honey and homemade cards and jewelry. Call 262-473-0530 for more information.
