EDGERTON — Just because Labor Day is passing us by doesn’t mean that summer fun is over.

Chilimania brings music, food and fun to downtown Edgerton on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 7 and Sept. 8.

The event kicks off with the Country Edge concert on Sept. 7. Gates open at 5 p.m. with music by A Tad of Saracha at 5 p.m., Saving Savannah at 7 p.m. and headliner Morgan Wallen at 10 p.m. Wallen’s smash hit “Up Down” featuring Florida Georgia Line has been a summer staple on country radio.

On Sept. 8, the days starts with the Chili Chase 5K and 10K. The festival opens at 10:30 a.m. and activities include a chili cookoff, salsa and bloody mary contests, live music and, of course, chili tasting for the peoples choice selection.

Chilimania organizers encourage hungry festival-goers to arrive by about 2 p.m. to get in on the chili sampling.
