Even if you’re not ready to create a piece of woodcarving art like the one above by Gerry Lesch of Clinton, members of the Rock River Valley Carvers offer an open carving session from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. the first and third Tuesdays of the month. The session is held in Ortmayer Hall at Trinity Episcopal Church, 419 E. Court St., Janesville. Attendees should enter through the basement door from the church parking lot on Atwood Avenue.
