6 tablespoons butter or margarine
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 slightly beaten eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup chocolate malted milk powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup chopped dates
1/2 cup chopped nuts (any kind)
1/2 cup coconut
Melt butter or margarine, remove from heat. Blend in brown sugar. Beat in eggs. Add vanilla. Stir in flour, malted milk powder and baking powder. Mix thoroughly. Fold in dates, nuts and coconut.
Put in greased 9-inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool.

1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
2 tablespoons chocolate malted milk powder
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon milk
Combine soft butter or margarine with the powdered sugar, malted milk powder, vanilla and milk.
