By Rick West BELOIT — After battling to a scoreless tie in the first half, Madison East scored two goals in the second half to beat the Beloit Knitro 2-0 Tuesday night at Jacobson Field in Beloit. The loss was only the fourth in 15 games for the Knitro, a co-op team from Beloit Memorial and Beloit Turner, however, all four losses have been in the Big Eight Conference for Beloit (1-4). With the win Madison East is now 3-2 in the Big Eight.
