BELOIT -- Some of Rock County’s sturdiest centenarians are still going strong.
Though they might look a little different than they did 100 years ago, three century-plus old library buildings are still vibrant parts of their communities, thanks, in part, to the man who’s been dubbed the “patron saint of libraries,” Andrew Carnegie.
ELKHORN -- Larry and Rhonda Voss are selling their home and just about everything they own. They aren’t desperate for cash, but they are desperate to begin what they believe is a calling.
STATELINE NEWS -- Matthew Beach enthusiastically pedaled the bicycle he had just received down the driveway.
"It feels great," Beach said as he test drove his early sixth birthday present.
JANESVILLE MESSENGER -- One of the great things about summer is the county fair. For six days, you can enjoy a slice of rural life right inside the city limits of Janesville.
This year’s Rock County 4-H Fair is set for July 28 through Aug. 2 at the Rock County Fairgrounds. The theme is “Families Make the Fair Go Round.”
