BELOIT -- The United Way Blackhawk Region’s 2016 Community Campaign officially kicks off beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016 with the organization’s annual breakfast.
The kickoff will be held in the ABC Supply corporate hangar of the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport.
Milly Babcock and Kim Hendricks, 2015 Champions of United Way’s community campaign, will be on hand to pass the torch to the group of local leaders championing this year’s campaign.
JANESVILLE MESSENGER -- Theatre Unlimited’s upcoming production of “My Fair Lady” will be a homecoming, of sorts, for a Janesville native.
Aly Bitter, who now lives in Astoria, New York, will return to Janesville to perform a starring role as Eliza Doolittle.
“My Fair Lady” will be performed Sept. 16 through Sept. 18 and Sept. 22 through Sept. 25 at the Janesville Performing Arts Center.

WALWORTH COUNTY SUNDAY -- June is well known as dairy month, and the Stateline is celebrating with a variety of events honoring all things dairy as well as our agriculture heritage.
Rock, Walworth and Boone-Winnebago counties will host dairy breakfasts in the next few weeks, and Wisconsin’s Alice in Dairyland paid a visit to the area just last week.
