Opportunities for Easter fun are popping up all over the county over the next few weeks.

• The East Troy Electric Railroad Bunny Train will offer five departures each day on Saturday and Sunday, March 24 and March 25, and on Saturday, March 31.

The experience includes children’s activities before departure and on the 10-mile round trip to the Elegant Farmer in Mukwonago. At the Elegant Farmer, children can see live bunnies and chicks on display, visit with the Easter bunny and enjoy a treat.

Get a basket ready to collect colorful eggs and treats at these area egg hunts:
• Whitewater: 2 p.m. Sunday, March 18, at Whitewater Middle School, 401 S. Elizabeth St. For children in fifth grade or younger.
• Darien: 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24, at West Park, 355 W. Madison St.
• East Troy: 9 a.m. Saturday, March 24, at Little Prairie Primary School, 2109 Townline Road. For ages 10 and under. Register by calling 262-642-4900 or emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
• Elkhorn: 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24, at First Lutheran Church and School, 415 Devendorf St. For ages 10 and under.
• Genoa City: 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24, at Brookwood Middle School, 1020 Hunters Ridge Drive
• Williams Bay: 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24, at Lions Field House, 240 Elkhorn Road.
• Delavan: 9:45 a.m. Saturday, March 31, at Phoenix Park, 111 E. Wisconsin St.
• Fontana: 10 a.m. Saturday, March 31, at the Duck Pond Recreation Area, Wild Duck Road off Wisconsin Highway 67.
