Take note of these musical offerings at area libraries

• Ukulele Strum & Sing: Try your hand at the ukulele or just sing along with professional musician Pamela Kundert on Monday, Dec. 18, at Lake Geneva Public Library. 
From 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Kundert will offer a group lesson to teach her audience to play holiday songs.

The lesson will be followed by a strum and singalong complete with rhythm instruments participants will be invited to play. Five new ukuleles will be available to check out from the library’s front desk.

Participants are invited to check out a ukulele or bring their own. The program is open to the public.

The library is located at 918 W. Main St., Lake Geneva.

• Holiday favorites: The Elkhorn Area High School Vocal Choir and bell choir will fill the lobby of Elkhorn’s Matheson Memorial Library will the songs of Christmas at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20.
The library is located at 101 N. Wisconsin St., Elkhorn.
