Adults were treated to an excellent array of area crafters with a wide variety of items being sold. The food stand and bake sale provided delicious goodies and a time to visit with friends and neighbors. The theme baskets and Christmas quilt raffle tables were busy with excited children and adults hoping to be lucky winners.
Both young and old learned the secrets of growing enormous pumpkins, courtesy of an interesting and informative presentation given by John Karstetter, Clinton-area member of The Pumpkin Kings. Many also enjoyed nostalgic horse-drawn carriage rides provided by Jim Hunkins and Tammy Hennager of Brodhead and their impressive team of Percheron draft horses. Others chose to get some exercise by taking a guided hike led by David Hoffman of the Rock County Parks Department.
