Friday, Aug. 31, 2012 FINAL: Middleton 23, Janesville Parker 13 FINAL: Verona 28, Janesville Craig 14 Janesville Craig hosts its first home game of the 2012 season Friday when the Verona Wildcats come to Monterey Stadium for a 7 p.m. kickoff. The Cougars are 0-1 to begin the season after falling to Madison West 35-20. Verona is coming off a 27-7 loss to Verona last week. The Craig sophomore game begins at 5 p.m. The Craig freshman heavyweight and lightweight teams host Verona at 5 p.m. Thursday at Craig High School. Janesville Parker takes to the road this week for a 7 p.m. game against Middleton after falling to Madison Memorial last week, 45-20. The Vikings are 0-1. Middleton is coming off a 48-0 win over Beloit Memorial last week. The Parker Middleton game will be broadcast live Friday on WCLO, with the pregame beginning at 6:45 p.m. The Parker sophomores play Thursday, with the game beginning at 7 p.m. at Middleton High School. The Parker freshman play at 5 p.m. Thursday at Middleton High School.
