In Illinois: At Elections.winnebagocountyclerk.com residents can register to vote, find their polling place and see a sample ballot Preview Winnebago County Board, District 3 Preview ROSCOE — The Winnebago County Board will have a new look following the Nov. 6 election. In June the board size was reduced and new districts were approved. The current board features 14 districts with two members each. The new board will have 20 single- member districts. In the Stateline area, the new District 3 race pits board incumbent Republican Steve Schultz against Democrat John Gedney. Schultz has been a member of the Winnebago County Board since 2008, representing District 2. Gedney currently works in manufacturing and serves on the board of directors for the United Way of Rock River Valley. The newly redrawn District 3 includes areas of Roscoe, Machesney Park and Harlem Township. In the new District 1, Lynne Strathman is running unopposed. In the new District 2, which includes parts of Rockton, Jim Webster is running unopposed.
