FONTANA -- CSI Media received 19 awards, including a first in general excellence for the Janesville Messenger, March 30 at the Wisconsin Community Newspapers annual convention in Fontana. CSI Media, a division of the Bliss Communications newspaper group, also publishes Walworth County Sunday, Walworth County Shopper Advertiser and the Stateline News.
Wisconsin Community Newspapers is a statewide trade group of publishers of community newspapers and shoppers. CSI publications competed in the largest circulation group and with papers that include significant news content as well as advertising. Walworth County Sunday and Walworth County Shopper Advertiser won 12 awards in both advertising and news categories. The Stateline News won five awards and the Messenger won two.
