BELOIT — Officials for the Beloit Police Department began searching for an 18-year-old Beloit male late last week.

Police said Bilial L. Hammette has been missing since Aug. 6. He has not been found as of press time. Police said Hammette left his residence in the 1800 block of Poole Court. according to police, he did not have access to a vehicle.

Police said Hammette is an African-American male about six-feet tall with a tattoo of a dollar sign under his right eye. According to police, he was last seen wearing dark jeans, red T-shirt and a black pair of Nike shoes. Family and friends told police it’s not normal behavior for him.

Anyone with information about Hammette’s whereabouts is asked to call the Beloit Police Department at (608) 364-6801 or Rock County Communications Center at (608) 757-2244.
