ROCKTON -- The Rockton Lions Club has a history of presenting a great country music lineup for Old Settlers Days, their four-day music festival, and this year is no exception. The festival, which is held June 19 through June 22, 2014 in Rockton will feature some top names in country music including Wayland, Bret Michaels, Dylan Scott, Lee Brice, Drew Baldridge, Chris Young, Cole Swindell and Colt Ford.

The festival includes a carnival by Skinner’s Amusements and a trading post with more than 50 vendors of goods and services. A parade will step off at noon on Saturday, June 21.

The music lineup is listed below. Bret Michaels, of Poison, will open the festival. There will be fireworks at the conclusion of the last band on Sunday, weather permitting.

Old Settlers Days is located at "Settlers Park" on East Hawick Street, right behind First National Bank-Macktown, in downtown Rockton, Illinois. There is no cost for parking.

Parking restrictions will be in use, so it advised that festival goers use the free parking provided at Hononegah High School, 307 Salem St. The main entrance of the festival is a short walk west on Main Street from that parking lot. Handicapped parking is available at the parking lot on the corner of Blackhawk and Hawick Streets.

A four-day admittance ticket is required to enter the grounds. Main Stage performances require an additional ticket. Call (877) 318-4540. Go to OldSettlersDays.com for more information.
