BELOIT — The Green Bay Packers annual Tailgate Tour will make a stop in Beloit this year, giving local fans a chance to meet and mingle with some of their favorite players as well as Packer legends.

The road show will be in Beloit from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, at the Eclipse Center. The Packers are expected to arrive about 6 p.m.

The tour is a five-day, five-city bus trip that brings players to communities around the state to thank their fans.

Beloit Regional Hospice was selected to partner with the Packers for this event and will receive 100 percent of the proceeds.

Local sponsors also include Beloit Health System and CSI Media, publisher of the Stateline News.

Packer President Mark Murphy is expected to address the fans during a question and answer session, and current players on the tour roster include Randall Cobb, Jarrett Bush and Alex Green. Player appearances are tentative as of the announcement date, and may change prior to the tour date.

Former Packer greats Santana Dotson, Aaron Taylor and Frank Winters also are expected to attend.

The event will include games, auction items, Packer memorabilia and Tailgate tour T-shirts.

A $30 ticket, limited to the first 650 purchasers is required for admission, autographs from the Packer celebrities, tailgate food, beverage and giveaways.

There also will be 300 general admission tickets available for $5, that do not include autographs, but include admission to the event as well as the question and answer session.

Fans under 18 must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.

For more than 30 years, Beloit Regional Hospice staff and volunteers have been leaders in quality and compassion who seek to serve all who want and need their care.

Through teamwork they advocate for appropriate care while respecting the right of patients to choose their journey, and above all hope is always embraced at the end of life.

The nonprofit organization’s mission is to help make each moment of remaining life as full and comfortable as possible, for terminally ill individuals and families in the counties of Boone, Green, Rock, Walworth and Winnebago.
